Let's Rock The Beach

Dear World,
This doesn't have anything to do with our dear Carby but I cannot resist.. My (probably) favorite record of 2009 came out today: the Real Estate S/T LP. Unfortunately, neither plaza or p-mac has it (yet at least, i checked) but that don't matta you can get it here.

Sassy.

The Sass Dragons show on Saturday was pretty sweet.

Conniption Fitts were kind enough to play as well and it was awesome.

Parlor sounded really good too, if you missed them you better make it to Lost Cross on Saturday.

That's SO Goth.

The Lauren’s second annual Goth Revival party was immaculately melancholy. Ray Suburbia opened for The Cramps cover band (BITCHIN) by reading some deep ass Baudelaire.

“Oh, I puked and passed out, but can I tell you something? I had a GREAT time last night!”
