End of Days

2012? 2112? Whatever, last Saturday was one of the last shows at boobys, and it was pretty rad. The show at Lost Cross was combined with the one at boobys, so 7 bands. Parlor sounded awesome, Spokesmen didn't pass out, and JEFF ruled once again.
Woah hunx.

Let's Rock The Beach

Dear World,
This doesn't have anything to do with our dear Carby but I cannot resist.. My (probably) favorite record of 2009 came out today: the Real Estate S/T LP. Unfortunately, neither plaza or p-mac has it (yet at least, i checked) but that don't matta you can get it here.

The Sass Dragons show on Saturday was pretty sweet.

Conniption Fitts were kind enough to play as well and it was awesome.

Parlor sounded really good too, if you missed them you better make it to Lost Cross on Saturday.

B-40s Tour

Speaking of Black Fortys, they are leaving tomorrow for a mini-tour to NYC and back. Dates here:

Nov 19 2009 8:00P Pianos w/ Goldspot Manhattan, New York

Nov 20 2009 8:00P World Cafe w/ Goldspot Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Nov 22 2009 8:00P Black Cat w/ Goldspot Washington DC, Washington DC

They will be playing live on a radio show in Baltimore on the 21st at 1pm, I'm not exactly sure how you can listen to it but I bet you can find out here.

busy busy busy

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, everyone has been busy with school and I've been slaving away in my basement working on a number of projects that are almost finished. Here are some previews!

Black Fortys - Blacktooth

Black Fortys - Whale Machine

There is also a demo of a new Nighty Night song up, hear it on myspace.

More super sweet cool stuff coming soon!

That's SO Goth.

The Lauren’s second annual Goth Revival party was immaculately melancholy. Ray Suburbia opened for The Cramps cover band (BITCHIN) by reading some deep ass Baudelaire.

“Oh, I puked and passed out, but can I tell you something? I had a GREAT time last night!”
