2nite

Blogger has been on the fritz all week (is it because of Joel Fritzler?) so we haven't had a chance to talk about the two great shows happening tonight until now.. so let's do it right now! Chicago's Ga'an, Iowa City's Alex Body, and our very own Drunk Virago are playing at the Skihaus tonight, on mister Nicholas Sandino's birthday! Ga'an is sweet as hell, and so is Nick, so check it out.

Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three are playing at Hangar tonight, and if you haven't seen them one of the many times they have played here before, maybe you've seen them on the internets lately 'cause the've been blowing up everywhere! They've been featured on NPR a bunch (check out their tiny desk concert), Jack White recorded some songs with them and put them out via his Third Man record label, etc etc. Swamp Tigers will open up, and possibly Whistle Pigs will be playing in the beer garden??
